Idiotic Sobriety

I worry about the future.  Is everyone besides me going to end up addicted to booze or drugs at some point?  If that's what happens, that means I'll be in charge, and I'm an idiot.  I wonder if anyone ever wrote a book about an idiot being in charge of the world simply because he's the only person left who isn't constantly high.
